Thug life: The trending song Mutha Maashi in Chinmay's voice.. Why the ban? Radha Ravi is harsh!
Chennai: The song Muthamasai sung by Chinmayi at the audio launch of the film Thak Life left many people in awe. No matter where you go on social media, many people are enjoying and listening to this song. While netizens are questioning why Chinmayi, who has such a charming voice, has not sung in Tamil cinema for so long and why she was banned from singing, actor Radha Ravi has given an interview regarding this.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, Tak Life, starring Kamal, Simbu, Trisha, Abhirami and Joju George, is set to release on June 5. The music launch of the film was held at Sai Ram College, Chennai. Singer Chinmayi, who was present, sang the song 'Muththa Maalai'. I must say that everyone who heard the song forgot about Chinmayi's voice. That's how great that song was. The same song was sung by 'Thee' in the film 'Tak Life'. Chinmayi's singing attracted everyone's attention more than Thie's singing.
Singer Chinmayi: While fans are celebrating this song, many fans are asking on the internet why she was banned from singing such a voice. She made her debut in cinema by singing the song 'Oru Deivam Thantha Poove' in the film Kannathil Muthamittal directed by Mani Ratnam. She went on to sing many hit songs. Following this, the Television Artistes and Dubbing Artists Association, headed by its president Radha Ravi, banned Chinmayi from singing in Tamil films. Following this, Chinmayi has been singing in Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages, excluding Tamil, for many years.
Why the ban?: After Chinmayi sang the song Mutha Maalai on stage, many people were asking why she was banned, Radha Ravi, the president of the Dubbing Artists Association, gave an interview to the Galatta Pink channel. In it, the host and singer Chinmayi has dubbed for more than 70 films. She said that 10 percent of the proceeds from that film will go to the dubbing union, so why can't I pay Rs 250 as a subscription? She asked why Chinmayi was banned when that was the case. Radha Ravi replied that she did not pay the annual subscription. When questioned about this, she went to court. She went there and lied that she had paid the subscription for her entire life. She said that she was banned because of this.
No need: The host who was still waiting, you are a senior actor, Chinna Pen Chinmayi, you have done something wrong. Call her and ask her if she is a problem that is not necessary, she may have said that she is a subscriber, if she does not listen to me, then she will not be able to live, how is it fair to destroy someone's talent? Radha Ravi, who was angry with this question, said that you are asking a good question, you are right. But, you cannot answer this question all the time. Because this is an unnecessary 'waste topic' and there is no need to answer it, she left the interview.
