Give and Take Policy: There was a kind hearted king in a country. Occasionally he would visit the countryside in disguise and help people in distress.
Once he was in a village in disguise. A beggar approached him and said he was the poorest of the poor and could not even get a meal a day. The king jokingly told him, "If you give me something to show your love, I will give you something in return."
The frustrated beggar reluctantly picked out five grains of rice from his bowl and gave it to the stranger, who put them into his mouth, thanked the beggar and went away. The beggar thought that the man was a miser. He did not know that he was a king.
Two hours later a courtier from the palace came and gave a bowl of rice to the beggar and said it was in return for the grains he had given to a stranger, who was really a king.
The surprised beggar put his hand into the bowl and found five gold coins in it. He thought, I was a miser. If I had given the entire bowl of rice, I would have got hundreds of gold coins." He felt sorry for missing an opportunity.
With God it is always a give and take policy.
